THE RULES - READ FIRST!!! (ENGLISH)

Beitrag von Uwe Hellwig » Jul 3, '17, 06:09

1. REGISTRATION, MEMBER ACCOUNTS AND DRIVER NAMES
You have to be a member of the website/forum to be able to participate in any event that is organised by MTX Racing. You can register to the website/forum using your nickname or real name. If you want to sign up to an event or league, you have to use your real name!

2. STEAM ID AND REAL NAME
MTX Racing usually allows the use of personal skins. In order to use these custom skins in Assetto Corsa, the server must be set up to receive/send data to the clients, so that you get the right skin when you join. For this, we need to know your Steam ID. And your real name is needed for the statistics tracker. Even if you don’t want to use custom skins we need both, that’s our rules.
You have to send your Steam ID and name to the Administration: We need your Steam ID and real name
IMPORTANT
You must enter the race with the name you signed up or your result will not be counted !!!
This rule applies to all events we do and where you need to sign up.

3. DRIVER CONDUCT
We expect that every driver at any event/league will conduct themselves to the highest standards of behaviour and sportsmanship attitudes, particularly in their relationship with other drivers and MTXStaff, in a manner that shall not hinder the reputation of MTX Racing. Failure to do so may result in harsh warnings or a ban.

• Race with common sense in all sessions.
• Don’t hold up, or block other drivers unnecessarily during a session.
• Respect the in-game rules, all flags should be respected and followed.
• Keep two wheels on the track at all times. Kerbs are part of the track.
• Cutting rules: When you receive a cut warning it means you have been off the track and gaining an unfair advantage. When you receive this warning, you will be asked to slow down before the end of the lap. When you do this, please be aware of others behind you and stay off of the racing line. Please don’t park your car on the circuit.
• If you leave the race track unintentionally, re-join the track with extreme caution. If necessary, you must wait until the field has passed you, before you can re-join.
• Pressing ESC or “telepitting” is only during practise or qualification allowed, unless any other league rule applies.
• When someone is trying to overtake you in a straight, you are allowed to change lines only once.

4. SPORTSMANSHIP
Good sportsmanship is the very essence of the sport, and the basic foundation of any competition. Be a gentleman; treat each other in the way you would like to be treated. If you hit another driver resulting in a spin, a crash, or if the driver goes off track, be a gentleman: slow down, wait for him, stay off the racing line and give that driver his place back.

5. UNSPORTSMANLIKE CODUCT
Any unsportsmanlike conduct, on any scale, will not be welcome at MTX Racing events/leagues. Acts of unsportsmanlike conduct has many forms such as arguing, accusing, and intimidation. No form of unsportsmanlike conduct will be tolerated. Drivers who show poor sportsmanship due to their own mistakes in judgement will be educated. However, drivers who commit repeated acts of unsportsmanlike conduct will be given warnings or penalties which suit the offence.

6. KNOWLEDGE OF THE RULES
• All drivers must know all of the rules. Ignorance of any specific rule is not an excuse.
• These racing rules are used for every event here; follow them in everything (penalties, pit stops, pit lane speed etc.).
• No chat in race, arguments can be settled after the race. You cannot concentrate on racing and watching a chat window and reply.

7. ATTENDANCE
All drivers who sign up are required to attend that event/league that they have signed up for. If a driver is unable to attend, let the Administrator’s know (at least 1 hour before qualifying starts) with a simple post on the forum.

While it is understandable that this may not be possible from time to time, repeated no-shows will result in your signups for future events/leagues being filled by drivers with a better reliability record.

8. VIOLATION OF THE RULES
Violation of the rules as stated above or drivers reporting you to a race director may result in warning, a time penalty, a ban from a single event, and in extreme cases, a ban from an event series or league. MTX Racing never wants to ban any driver, but will withhold this right to do so. When you are banned, you can only return to the single race events by sending a message containing the agreements of the violated rule(s) to the site administrators or race director. The so-called “Ban till you understand” method.

9. INCIDENTS, PENALTIES, WARNINGS ANS CARDS
Incidents:
Incident means any occurrence or series of occurrences involving one or more drivers, or any action by any driver, which is reported or seen by the stewards or the race admin. Drivers can file complaints up to 1 hour after a race in the respective forum thread.

Incidents are:
- causing an avoidable collision
- forcing a driver off the track
- illegitimately prevented a legitimate overtaking manoeuvre by a driver
- illegitimately impeded another driver during overtaking

Penalties:
The stewards or the race admin may impose a time penalty from 5 seconds up to a maximum of 25 seconds on any driver involved in an incident.

Warnings and Cards:
A Driver gets for an incident caused by him a warning, then this driver is driving under probation. For the next incident caused by this driver he will get a yellow card. For 3 yellow cards he gets a +25 seconds time penalty. If a driver gets 5 yellow cards he will automatically lose his racing license and can’t continue the series or season.

10. TRACKLIMITS AND PENALTIES
Track Limits are not set but please don't gain an unfair advantage by taking a wider line, and getting a faster exit speed.

The white lines ARE classed as part of the track. Track limits will be checked after the race.

Penalties are set as below:
Qualification: You will receive a Track Limit warning, and your time will not be counted.
Race: If you cutting too much to gain an unfair advantage you will get a Time Penalty or DQ after the Race.
